If you are a foreigner who interest to learn and study more about Indonesia Language, Culture and Art,this is a good opportunity for you to get the scholarship. If you are Indonesian who has friends who interest to learn about Indonesia more,invite them to apply the program.

What is Darmasiswa Program?
 “DARMASISWA is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia to study Bahasa, art and culture. Participants can choose one of selected universities located in different cities in Indonesia. This program is organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).”

How long the duration of the program?
The scholarship granted to the participants conforms with the 12 month of study program.


How about the Scholarship covered?
When participants arrived in Orientation program :

1. Students will be provided with accommodation and transportation during the Orientation Program if time arrival in time with the schedule from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
2. Students will get settlement allowance when attending the Orientation Program.
3. Students legal permit arrangement with the help of the Host University will be supported by Ministry of Education and Culture.

When participants arrived in host university :
1. Enjoy the program in host university
2. Students monthly stipend will be divided into 2 groups of area: Area 1 Rp. 2.850.000,- (Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar, Manado), Area 2 Rp. 2.450.000,- (Aceh, Padang, Palembang,Purwokerto, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Malang, Samarinda)

When is the program schedule?

1. Online registration - 9 December 2016 until 9 February 2017
2. Interview at related KBRI/KJRI - 10 February 2017 until 3 March 2017
3. Selection by the University (online) - 4 March 2017 until 19 March 2017
4. Final announcement - 7 April 2017
5. Estimated arrival at Indonesia - Late August 2017
